Right to Return

In Spain, the Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users) regulates the exclusion of the right of withdrawal for certain goods, including hygiene products and personalized products.

The Spanish Consumer Protection Law, which implements the EU Consumer Rights Directive, contains specific provisions that limit or exclude the right of withdrawal for certain goods.

Hygiene items:

Goods which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return once opened after delivery.

Personalized products:

Goods that are made to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs, as returns are not possible.
